Toddler Program

Our Montessori Toddler Program
An Introductory Phase for Children 18 months - 3 Years

Our Toddler Program contains all the components necessary to give your child an enriching start to their "school experience".The program is, enriched with all Montessori materials - Practical Life materials to build fine motor skills, Language activities to build beginning literacy, Math materials to help establish counting and one-to-one correspondence. The program also contains a variety of manipulative's, art activities, science projects and plenty of reading.  This is a great stepping stone to the preschool program.

It is specifically geared for those wonderful, challenging years from 18 months until approximately 3 years. During this time, a young child has all the energy and independence to grow, but still needs a great deal of guidance and love. In our Toddler Program, we strive to bridge the gap from baby to child, and in the process gradually introduce the young student to our Montessori curriculum.

The Toddler room is divided into Toddler 1 for children ages 18 months to 2 years and has a maximum capacity of 8 children and Toddler 2 for children ages 2-3 and has a maximum capacity of 10 children.

While in the Toddler room, children are introduced to the classroom and gently encouraged in the social skills needed for classroom behavior. They learn how to focus their attention at circle, how to do independent “jobs”, and how to care for themselves, including feeding, dressing, and potty training. Along the way they exuberantly laugh, sing, dance and play as they prepare to become preschoolers in the “big room”!
